I suggest to enable the CI search during ticket creation and ticket work to display Class dependent CI search attributes - like in the Config Item search module.
It should be possible to sort ConfigItems by name in Overview. Sorting by ConfigItem# doesn't make any sense.
I have a question, I want to send an email to OTRS, and I want to that ticket opens automatically with a Config Item linked. Is could that possible?
I know that is possible to automatic open a ticket with a service linked. And link that service with CI's before send the email. But I just want to know if is possible just to "autolink" a ticket with a CI, when an email arrives.
Like in the CI-Overview (AgentITSMConfigItem) the link-table in AgentITSMConfigItemZoom should have a SiteNavigation (36-70 of 83 - Page: 1 2 3).
It is a very long list to load an scroll when there are some linked Tickets.
It would be great if OTRS Reports Module could generate "Dynamic List" kind reports. Today it is not possible.
Another alternative way to get lists of CIs is that the Search functionality in the CMDB could use a Multiple Selection Field, to be able to perform searches over several CI classes at once.
As a trainer I want to plan our resources according training appointments in the calendar module. To manage the trainers, you can use the resource planning feature addon. To manage objects, e.g. laptops for the trainings, you would have to create agents for them. It would be great if I could select objects (e.g. as ConfigItems from the CMDB) as resources for the appointments in the calendar.
