Checklist support for standard changes

I would love to see a Checklist feature implemented for standard changes. For example to configure some hardware you need to do the same steps every time but the single steps are too small to define a workorder for every one of them. So you could define a checklist with all the needed action items on it and just check them ok when they are done. The whole thing could be linked to a ticket/change which is completed if ...more »

Unified condition engine

It would be nice to have some sort of a universal condition engine. (like in ITSM change management)

Such unified it could be used to define ACLs as well as change conditions in a centralized way. Workflows could be modeled in a simple way.

One could ether use a GUI (as used with changes yet) ore to define it config style (like the ACL definition today).

Workorder by length and position in workflow

We try to implement the workflow of some standard changes. It is annoying that in the workorder creation there has to be a start time and an end time to both define the length and the position in the change. It would be nice to define a position in the workflow. you can define a workorder A and a workorder B stat starts when workorder A is completed. Then it should be possible to define a length of the workorder to ...more »

Conditions templates

With a fresh install of OTRS::ITSM there is already a predefined set of categories, change state, workorder state. But the only way to shift between the Change and WO state is by setting the conditions "as You want". But why? With the already defined state transition in the backend there should be a predefined set of conditions to take the Change into the different states. The big drawback with ITSM today is that ...more »

Change serveral CMDB items at once

It would be nice to have a feature similar to tickets, where you can change serveral items at once.

This could be something like doing a search, selecting three items (like it is in tickets) and then select a 'group action' (in German: Sammelaktion).

Doing this you could leave fields grey-shaded, where the items have different values and white where they have the same values.
