It would be very useful the possibility of export/import a entire ticket thread in a form of archive file that is suitable to transport to another (or the same) OTRS installation to have a sort of consolidated backup of tickets. And also for the other OTRS job. Obviously there should be problem regarding objects ticket inhereditate... like SLA, Service, Customer and so on.... When you do a statistic like the number of tickets last 12 months per queue. It would be nice to have the SUM data directly as 2nd row inside the table (instead of the last one). In such a case you can directly see that there are "0" tickets in that queue at all - without the need to scroll to the very right side of the table.
Nearly all config files are in *.xml presentation today but when I export the configuration from the web interface I get the 'old' perl *.pm presentation.
Thats very annoying if i want to use the current configurations of a test system as a "template" for the staging system.
At least provide a choice wich format to download.
I suggest to include an additional column in csv export of search results which shows the ticket-url.
This would allow to directly jump to the ticket inside OTRS when you need more informations than availble inside the csv.
A function to export alls CIs from a class which achieve the same search criterias as PDF (like printing single CI)
This can be used for emergency documentation which will be needed offline. The export also should be possible via cron
I suggest you to build an excel (or project) import/export for change management. This is due to web repellant managers and/or people that do not have tool access
To have the possibility to import and export surveys and also it's results to use in other software to reports and handle of data.
I suggest to extend the functionalities for the lovely ImportExport package. The package is available in ITSM only but should be freed to the Standard OTRS as well. The package should be extendable by any package installed to make data (and setting maybe also) im- and exportable like it is working with the CMDB. Im- Exportable stuff: - Agents - Groups - Roles - Queues - Customers - Services - Service Level Agreements ...more »
I suggest to make the SystemLog exportable via GUI
